U.S. COAST GUARD AUXILIARY FLOTILLA 20-19
For the past several years, USCG Aux Flotilla 20-19 (Mt. Clemens) has been conducting an 8 week class at Harbor Club South on Jefferson Ave. With current pandemic conditions, conducting a live class is not permitted per the United States Coast Guard as part of the US Department of Homeland Security. As an alternative, a virtual class is planned with details as follows:

- Course: Boating Skills & Seamanship
- Dates: Tuesdays 2-23-21 through 4-13-21 (8 weeks) from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
- Content: Equipment Requirements, Trailering, Marine Radio, Handling Your Boat, Buoy Systems, Lines & Knots, Rules of the Nautical Road and Boating Safety
- Requirements: desktop PC, laptop or IPad with audio/visual capabilities
- Program utilized: Microsoft Teams (similar to Zoom)
- Format: live presentations on subject material
- Cost: $35.00 per person ($10 for additional family member) for book, etc.
- Certificate: Course Completion Certificates awarded
